Re-Useable Shopping Bags Don't Have to be Ugly

Let's face it; nothing is uglier than a plastic shopping bag. Once you've carried you're groceries home, that flimsy bag is likely bound for your trash, a pile you hope might make it to a recycling bin some day, or a second career as dog-poop or cat-litter receptacle.

The runner up in the ugly race is the canvas re-useable shopping bag. Sure, you're saving the Earth, but the color palette is drab and you'll feel like you're cheating on your hair dresser when you bring one grocery chain's bag into another grocery chain's deli.

So how do you save the earth, your wallet, and preserve your innate fashion sense at the same time? Check out the wide selection of bags available online. You won't feel like a walking billboard when you're carrying a cute, portable pink tote or a canvas bag emblazoned with a fine art print.

If you're looking to be a total individual, consider looking into customizing bags. Depending on how many bags you need on the average shopping trip, the prices can be fairly reasonable. And there's nothing like the pick-me-up of shopping with bags that display your kid/dog/neighbor's kid/pet rock, etc.

In all seriousness, reusable totes should and will become the way of the future. In fact, some counties are already looking into outlawing plastic shopping bags. Get ahead of the game by having a stock of reusable, attracting totes that can do double duty as beach bags, book bags, craft bags, or even a sly overnight bag to hide in the back of your car. Just in case.

In a cookie-cutter world, there aren't many opportunities show you style and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time. Every small change helps, so hop online and start browsing for a better bag. The environment will thank you.
